CONCESSIONS WORKER/ CUSTOMER SERVICE

Applications are being accepted for the position of Part-time Concessions staff for the Camden National Bank Ice Vault.  This position is responsible for the Food sales and preparation including operation of foodservice equipment. 

• Maintain work areas in a clean and organized manner. 

• Clean the concession stand and surrounding areas. 

• Help in the daily operations of opening and closing the concession stand.

 • Operate a cash register.

 • Follow arena policies and procedures as well as Health Department guidelines. 

• Keep foodservice equipment clean and operational at all times.

 • Arrive to work every day, on time as scheduled. 

• Perform other duties as assigned or directed. 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

• Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions. 

• Knowledge of or ability to operate food preparation machines

• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. 

 Minimum Qualifications:

 • Some High School or working towards High School diploma.

 • Some related work experience preferred but not required.

• Must be at least 16 years old. 

• Must be available and flexible to work various hours during the week and weekend. 

Candidates are also responsible to assist with the rest of the building as needed.  Need to be able to interact with the public in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner. Will work up to 32 hours per week, which will include day, evening, weekend and holiday hours.

ZAMBONI DRIVER/ICE RINK ATTENDANT

                                        
Applications are being accepted for the position of Part-time Zamboni Driver/Ice Rink Attendant for Camden National Bank Ice Vault.  This position is responsible for operating and driving the Zamboni ice resurfacing machine, edge conditioning, and other motorized equipment.

· Maintain accurate records of ice cuts, blade changes and preventative maintenance.

· Performs custodial work in the building interior/exterior to include sweeping and mopping of floors.

· Event set-ups and breakdowns.

· Communicate regularly with maintenance staff about repair and maintenance needs on all equipment and assigned jobs.

· Relate to public and to customers in a professional, courteous and respectful manner, appropriately responding to complaints.

· Sweep outdoors and removing snow or perform other incidental seasonal tasks.

· Clean and maintain facility bathrooms.

· Ability to learn to drive large equipment.

Candidates are also responsible to assist with the rest of the building as needed. Will work up to 32 hours per week, which will include day, evening, weekend and holiday hours.

Qualification/Requirements:

· Willing to work as a team player

· Excellent Customer Service skills

· Able to lift 25 lbs. without any limitations

· Knowledge working with facility equipment. Willing to train on the Zamboni.

· Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights and holidays.
 

RINK MONITOR / CASHIER

Applications are being accepted for the position of Rink Monitor for the Camden National Bank Ice Vault.  This position is responsible for the Food sales and preparation including operation of foodservice equipment. 

• Rink monitoring duties
  • Focus on delivering a pleasurable and memorable guest experience.
  • Be the ambassador of the posted Skaters Responsibility Code and remind skaters when necessary of their responsibilities to all other skaters on the ice.
  • Remain aware of all skating activity and anticipate potential incidents.
  • Safely respond to fallen skaters and summon an EMT if first aid is needed.
  • Clear the ice firmly and politely by directing skaters to the exit gates at the appropriate times, such as a resurface break or end of day. Make sure gates are closed and secure before resurfacing machine enters the ice.

Other Job Functions:

• Keep rink area clear of debris and trash.
• Communicate information to guests such as venue hours, pricing and policies.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications: Must be able to skate

• Cash register duties
  • Greet every guest. Be able to comfortably answer all general questions and contribute to the overall guest experience.
  • Competently process all transactions and ensure all guests have appropriate tickets.
  • Retain full knowledge and understanding of register operation, POS system and ticketing procedures.
  • Initiate open and close-out procedure when requested by a manager; count and sign for cash and remain until all transactions are reconciled and errors, if any, are rectified.
